September News Stories

A Belated Thanks

A Belated Thanks

Thanks are in order to everyone who performed at September's Pyramid Weekend.  It's been quiet here at Pyramid HQ since then.  One Pyramid Person has been in Arabia and another has broken his leg in a mysterious incident which we'd rather not talk about !

We had a fantastic time putting on the weekend and are therefore saddened to have to say that this will be the last Pyramid event at the Lamb.  The pub is being sold and will no longer be a music venue.  It's a big loss to Malvern and to Mark the Landlord who has been brilliant since he took the place over last year.

We would also like to thank everyone who came to the Pyramid Weekend.  We had over 1000 visitors over the weekend  and as we've said before; a party is nothing without guests.  As usual, you made the party what it was.

Also, all the hard work and effort put in by the Pyramid crew needs to be acknowledged, so thanks to the PA chaps, the lighting gals, the decor specialists, the scenery makers, the costumiers and the helpers.  Couldn't have done it without you !

The next Pyramid Party is being planned for the Bank Holiday Weekend in May 2011.  We've yet to decide on a venue but we shall be in a field with camping over a three day period.  Watch this space for more information.  Until then, party on and we'll See You in the Sunshine !

The Pyramid People

It's Tommorow

It's Today !

The Pyramid Weekend starts tonight and we're all set . . . well mostly !  There's been a few last minute changes in the line up and we're finishing off the decor, but we will have everything ready in time.

Entry to the Pyramid Weekend will be £4 per day which we're sure you'll find an absolute bargain.  Where else could you see this many bands and DJs at the price ?

Remember that the Lamb Inn, West Malvern Road, is in a residential area so please show consideration.  Parking can be a particular problem so we urge everyone to either walk to the Pyramid or take a taxi.  There is also a bus which stops right outside.

Above all, it is essential that all Pyramid guests enjoy themselves thoroughly !

And the weather is going to be just fine.

Pyramid Radio

The lovely Andy O'hare from BBC Hereford and Worcester will be broadcasting live from the Pyramid Party this Friday as part of Andy Marsden's Friday Session. With interviews and music from the Black Acid Band, Tallulah Fix, Skewwhiff and the Zebs . . . . so no swearing alright !

Friday Night Line Up Annouunced

Friday Night Line Up Announced

Well, we've finally got some news on who's playing when !  There have been dozens of applicants to play at the Pyramid Weekend, more than ever before.  Slowly, but surely we are filling each available slot with a suitable band or performer.  Friday night is more straightforward than the rest of the weekend because we'll only have the Pyramid Stage and the Love Tunnel going.

From 8pm on Friday 10th you will be able to see

The Black Acid Band, Tallulah Fix, Skewhiff and the mighty Zebedy Rays

Meanwhile they'll be Drum 'n' Bass and Dubstep in the Love Tunnel.  For more information and for updates as they happen, check out the listings here.

Rest of the Line Up

The Rest of the Line Up

Well, we've finally finalised the bands line up for the Pyramid Weekend !  It's taken some time because we were getting to grips with our sooper-dooper content management system.  The results look great though . . . as does the line up for the weekend.  We've got some Pyramid regulars and some newbies all adding up to a brilliantly Pyramidical weekend of music.  For more information and for updates as they happen, check out the listings here or click the link on the left.
