AKAHUM …is a high-energy 'live' act, purveyors of trancey dub vibes, funky psy grooves and thundering dance rhythms. Everything is 'hands-on', incorporating synths, samplers, guitar, bass and awesome percussionists.

Before AKAHUM started up in Nov 2006, David, Zoltan and Zenga performed together for over eight years as UNLIMBO. They played at hundreds of clubs, venues and festivals throughout Europe, with positive reviews and radio plays all over the world. UNLIMBO produced six albums including Prahna Fish, Unlimbits and Nine Lives.

AKAHUM have written tracks for Daevid Allen (Gong), and sometimes Nik Turner (Hawkwind/Space Ritual) plays with them as a special guest. They have an ex-Ozric's member on board as well as a drummer who's worked for Dexy's Midnight Runners/Portishead, not to mention having played some great slots at marvelous events such as Waveform, Eden & Wickerman.
