What can you say about the Funky Junky Monkeys that hasn't been said before? According to a bloke down the pub "they're meant to be good", and who could not agree with that! With a delicious blend of funk, punk, glam and rock, they delight their audiences with a boot-stomping mixture of scintillating covers and their own material. Created in 1988, the band originally played in hot sweaty monkey costumes. The Rev Ray Toland officiates at the ceremony while Rob Macaque puts the swing back in the jungle with his rhythmic contortions. Jet Bipod provides the bass. Ronnie 'The Reed' Rocket completes the troupe with her sax machine and harmonious vocals. A good band and a great show.
